It is at this stage that the risk of child abuse – from emotional incest and up to and including outright incest – is heightened. The narcissist is auto-erotic. My nEx partner was abused @ 8 yo by her step dad. She developed dysfunction I guess in order to protect her psyche and make sense of things. I’m 99.9999% she was abusing her kids and engaging in sexual intercourse with her 1st cousin, and uncle. On the day she came clean I asked what he mother would think of her attraction to her family members…much less if she acted on them. She without thinking and instantaneously replies “she’d be jealous”. Smh. … she comorbidly had major depression, bipolar disorder, and addiction problems and took her life in June 2020.
