Some of you have been following the career of 80 year old Wade Ewart Cox for some time and may wonder what he’s up to these days. We can assure you without any reservations that he is now absolutely a public figure without any doubt.
In 2025, Wade Cox ran for Edin-Monaro for the House of Representatives in Australia for the Trumpets of Patriots — publicizing themselves as being for common sense policies for Australia. Here’s what his party divulged about Mr. Cox:
Mr Cox, a decorated veteran, former local government leader, and Coordinator General of the Christian Churches of God, brings a lifetime of service and leadership to his candidacy.
“Australians are being let down by a government that is out of control and a law unto itself,” Mr Cox said.
“We need strong, common-sense leadership to rebuild our communities and restore our nation’s prosperity.
“Australia needs many of the policies of the Trump Administration which will be effective in bringing Australia back on track,’’ he said.
With experience spanning military service, government, and community advocacy, Mr Cox is committed to policies that protect Australian values and put the nation’s interests first.
We have a video here from Rumble:
Those who frequent this site may remember that we have made posts in the past concerning the illustrious Mr. Cox.
And now to the important part: Just how did Mr. Cox fare in the election?
This is the link for the results.
As you can see in the link, the winner is Kristy McBain of the Labor Party with 43% of the vote. Sadly, Mr. Cox came in at at 5th place with 2.4% of the vote.
This is the profile of the district:
Eden-Monaro covers 31,913 square kilometres in the south-east corner of NSW [New South Wales], lying east of the ACT and extending north to Goulburn. The largest concentration of voters live in the Canberra overflow around Queanbeyan, but the electorate also includes the fishing, holiday and retirement towns of Merimbula, Narooma and Bermagui on the NSW far south coast, the agricultural and forestry districts around Bega and Eden. On the new boundaries, the electorate also includes the major regional centre of Goulburn in the north. The electorate also includes Cooma and the NSW snowfields.

We note that originally in the charter of the Christian Churches of God, the position of Coordinator General ended when the Coordinator reached 70 years of age. It isn’t clear how Wade Cox is still coordinator 10 years past that point. Perhaps something has changed in the charter.
The Christian Churches of God embraces both the Bible and the Koran, with the Koran being the latest (and last) of the Word of God. This poses some interesting… scenarios. If we have this correctly, it embraces a form of Arianism. We have difficulties with this because of Hebrews 2, but some how the CCoG has transcended them.
We end with the observation that often losing is winning. While we admire the spirit of public service, we recognize that it can be demanding and stressful. It is often a sacrifice. With that, we hope those who have reached the age of retirement can enjoy it.
And not be bothered with what the Australian Legal Database has to say about them.
