But as Herb grew, he looked and craved,
and all too soon became enslaved.
The more he saw, the more he wanted.
His quest for more became undaunted.

And when he’s was old and full of treasure,
his fists still clenched in a grasping motion.
Till his death, he amassed a fortune,
still holding dear his superstitious notion.
