Hydroxychloroquine: The One Chart You Need To See

For the readers information…

With conflicting reports over the efficacy of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) in treating COVID-19, and large-scale studies pending, it would be really great to have a 10,000-foot view of everything we know about the anti-malaria drug that a host of doctors swear by – and which has been standard treatment protocol in some countries but not others.

To that end, Twitter user Gummi Bear has conducted a ‘deep dive’ into virtually everything we know about HCQ – which starts with this must-see chart comparing country-level case-fatality rates (CFR) by HCQ use.

Doctor goes viral for ‘silver bullet cure for Covid’

This is something I mentioned some months ago in a comment when I also found myself breathless back in March. Given antibiotic’s, and prednisone, I requested a symbicort inhaler having used one when I worked in a mold infested business some years ago. In 15 minutes I could breath again and recovered quickly.

I used the inhaler for around 7 days then discontinued it. Keep this in mind if you find yourself in such a position. The doctor below suggests a nebulizer.

Symbicort has the ingredient  budesonide .
(I might add that some months ago, here on this blog, I mentioned that some doctors were using corticosteroid inhalers for this virus.)

What is Symbicort?

Symbicort contains a combination of budesonide and formoterol. Budesonide is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the body. Formoterol is a long-acting bronchodilator that relaxes muscles in the airways to improve breathing.
